THE PROCESS

How It Works

Four steps from curiosity to walking Tokyo at night. No complications.

01

Pick a route

Choose from five evening walks across Tokyo's nocturnal districts. Each has a different mood, pace, and story.

02

Book a date

Select an available evening. Most routes run Thursday through Monday, 7–10 PM.

03

Show up

Meet your guide at the designated spot. Bring comfortable shoes, a camera, and cash for snacks.

04

Walk the night

2–3 hours of guided exploration. Your guide knows the backstreets, the stories, and the best photo angles.

What not to expect

No clubbing

We're not doing nightlife. We're doing night culture.

FAQ

Tokyo is one of the safest cities in the world at night. Your guide knows the area and will avoid any uncomfortable situations. We've never had an incident.

Only on the Kagurazaka route, where we visit 2–3 jazz kissa (coffee & jazz listening bars). On all other routes, we observe exteriors and provide recommendations for after the walk.

We walk rain or shine. Rain actually makes the neon reflections better. We provide rain ponchos if needed. Only severe weather cancels.

Yes, extensively. We designate photo stops. The only restriction: no flash and no filming inside private venues.

Most routes start between 7–8 PM and end by 10–11 PM. The city changes after midnight, and we want to show you the best hours.
